The most requested game to get working in PocketCultMAME is by far Metal Slug... well, it works now as most NeoGeo tittles applying this fix where you installed PocketCultMAME 0.5wip. It's very unstable by now but works at full speed on my IPaq hx2750 and also it's playable on Dell Axim X51v without sound and enabling the "Intel 2700g double pixel" option... forget it if you have a CPU bellow 500Mhz until I add Cyclone for MC68000 emulation. PocketCultMAME 0.4a still as the official release but now PocketCultMAME v0.5 Work In Progress is available for download from here. Some people asked about the progress of the next release of PocketCultMAME and I think that to offer something to try is better than any explanation about how will be PocketCultMAME 0.5. This WIP is released oriented to curious people and I don't recommend to use it if you can't play without sound or below 60fps because by now, the emulator is not enough optimized and will work too slow in most devices, also there are some issues not resolved or not finished because this is yet in full development. Read the release notes to get more information.

Also I added a (incomplete) collection of screenshots as extra download from Rapidsite, simply download and unzip in the screenshots folder (aprox. size 50Mb).

I added for download a package with two alternative builds of PocketCultMAME 0.4a for those games that don't not work with Dr.Z80 or Cyclone. Decompress the two files contained in the zip file where you installed PocketCultMAME and launch one of those files instead of the original PocketCultMAME (in most cases, 'pcmame_noDrz80.exe' is the correct selection).

Those files may work much slower in your device since they are made using the original CPU emulators written in C language, use only for games that do not work with the original PocketCultMAME and please, make sure that you are using the correct romset using a rom manager like RomCenter.

PocketCultMAME v0.4a is available for download. There are many new features and enhancements, take a look at the list of changes using the link above and don't forget to read the documentation included in the package. There are not new games supported because I spent all my effort to make it more usable, but this release opens the way to MAME 0.36.

Pocketcult.com is online again. There are some updates in the site and I also changed the server to another with higher traffic limit.
